The Qingming Festival

Hello,my friends! The Qingming Festival is coming, CamelConvey will be closed on April 4th and normal business will resume on April 7th.
The Qingming Festival is one of China's most significant traditional holidays. Rooted in over 2,500 years of history, it intertwines ancestral reverence, seasonal celebration, and cultural philosophy, reflecting China's deep connection to family heritage and the natural world. Families visit gravesites to honor departed relatives, weeding burial mounds, cleaning tombstones, and offering symbolic items such as fresh flowers, food, tea, or wine. Qingming also marks the start of warmer weather, inviting people to embrace nature through taqing. Families picnic in parks, fly kites. Traditional foods, such as sweet green rice balls made with mugwort, symbolize the vibrancy of spring.
